It's been awhile...the photo department is in the middle of the fall season, with 13 teams already finished with their headshots and team photos. We are also beginning to scan the black and white photo archives with the help of two assistants and a student worker.
As far as published work, keep an eye out for a feature on Owen Marecic in Friday's Oregonian...The Daily Orange in Syracuse is using a photo of Jim Harbaugh in today's issue of the paper...Volleyballer Bryn Kehoe will get her headshot in the next issue of Volleyball Magazine...Today, Arianna Lambie is on the homepage of http://ustfccca.cstv.com/ as part of the preview of the upcoming Stanford Invitational this weekend.

Welcome to Our Blog
Welcome to the Stanfordphoto blog. This is where you'll find news about where Stanford sports photographs are being published and other interesting photo news.
Managing approximately 12,000 images a year for the athletic department and 35 varsity teams doesn't allow much time to track links and acquire all copies of our published work. But I do think it would be useful for parents, student-athletes and fans to know what feature stories are in the works.
In the last few weeks, I've sent images to the Boston Globe for a story on Corey Gatewood, and images of coach Chris Dalman to the Santa Cruz Sentinel, San Mateo paper, and the Mercury News for stories that ran the third week in August.
In the 8/13 ESPN the Magazine, headshots of superstars Ben Wildman-Tobriner of the swim team and Arianna Lambie of Track/Cross Country made the magazine... In other publications, Ekom Udofia of the football team is pictured in the 2007 Sports Illustrated College Football Preview issue, check it out.
As for previous work published in August, field hockey player Jessica Zutz is on page 21 of the 8/17 edition of the Palo Alto Weekly, as well as football player Nate Wilcox-Fogel on page 22, Mark Bradford on page 19 and U.S. Amateur golf competitors Daniel Lim and Joseph Bramlett are in there as well.
Mark Bradford and Evan Moore are pictured in the 8/21/07 issue of the Palo Alto Daily News, and Mark Bradford was in the P.A. Daily News again on 8/22/07...
It's been a busy weekend, I'm still editing through 350+ images and captioning photos from the Stanford/UCLA football game. I'm hoping to finish on Monday...
